
Slow Cooker Recipes – Volume 2

Apple Cobbler
Ingredients:
2 cups granola
4 apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
2 v. tablespoons melted butter
1 / 4 cup honey
1 tsp Cinnamon Tea
Directions:
Butter the inside of the pot and add apple slices. Drizzle the honey and melted butter on top of apples, then sprinkle with cinnamon and granola over apples. Cover the cooker, then put a soft setting and cook for about eight hours. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipping cream drizzled on top.
Bananas Foster
Ingredients:
6 bananas (peeled and cut into quarters)
1 / 2 cup shredded coconut
1 / 2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 / 4 c. Tea salt
1 / 2 cup dark corn syrup
1 / 3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 tsp tea lemon zest (grated)
3 c. tablespoon lemon juice
1 tsp coffee rum flavoring
12 slices of pound cake
1 quart French Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
Confectionery sugar (for garnish)
Directions:
Add bananas and coconuts in the crock pot. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, rum flavoring, salt, cinnamon, corn syrup and butter. Pour this mixture over the bananas and coconuts. Cover the casserole and cook over low heat for about half past one. Place a scoop of ice cream between two slices of pound cake, then pour a ladle of sauce over each banana sandwich. " Sprinkle with sugar.
Fondue Caramel Rum
Ingredients:
1 (14 oz) bag caramel candies
2 / 3 cup whipping cream
1 / 2 cup miniature marshmallows
1 / 2 c. Tea rum extract
Directions:
Mix candy caramel and whipped cream in the slow cooker. Cover with lid and heat for about half an hour, or until the ingredients have melted. Stir in rum extract and marshmallows, cover and cook for an hour and a half. Serve with apple wedges or pound cake.
Chocolate Candy
Ingredients:
2 lbs white almond bark
4 ounces dipping chocolate or milk chocolate
Packaging chips 12 oz semisweet chocolate
2 1 / 2 cup of dry roasted peanuts
1 cup raisins
Directions:
Mix and almond bark, chocolate chips, peanuts and chocolate milk in the crockpot. Set it to a setting to heat and cook for about 45 minutes. Be sure to stir the mixture every 15 minutes. After 45 minutes, stir awareness and cook for another 15 minutes. Drop pieces on waxed paper and let cool. When they are nice and firm, store in an airtight container.
Chocolate Pudding Cake
Ingredients:
Chocolate cake mix 1 package
1 package chocolate instant pudding
2 cups sour cream
1 small bag chocolate chips semisweet
3 / 4 cup oil
4 eggs
1 cup water
Directions:
Coat the pan with oil or cooking spray. Mix all ingredients together then pour the mixture into slow cooker. Cook over low heat for about seven hours. Serve warm with ice cream or vanilla whipped cream.
Baked Custard
Ingredients:
3 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 / 3 cup granulated sugar
Vanilla 1 c. Tea
2 cups milk
1 / 4 c. tsp nutmeg
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the vanilla, sugar, milk and eggs. Pour in a flat buttered 1-quart baking (or soufflé dish) that fit in the crock pot. Sprinkle nutmeg on top of mixture and add 2 cups hot water in the pot of slow cooker. Cover baking dish with foil and place the lid of the cooker. Cook over high heat for about three hours (or until the cream has set).
Caramel Apples
Ingredients:
4 large tart apples (cored)
1 / 2 cup apple juice
1 / 2 cup packed brown sugar
12 red cinnamon candies in hot
4 c. unsalted butter
8 sweets Caramel
1 / 4 c. Cinnamon Tea
Directions:
Peel about 3 / 4 inch off the top of each apple and place in slow cooker. Pour apple juice over apples, then fill in their centers with 2 c. tablespoons brown sugar 1 tsp tablespoons butter, 3 cinnamon candies and caramels 2. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top. Cover the casserole and set to heat at low temperature. Allow potatoes to cook for about five hours, or until apples are tender. Serve hot.
