What can I do with honey?
We have loads and loads of honey from flowers that we do not know what to do with it. Something that me and my sister can cook together? I am a teenager and she is a toddler. Thank you! X
Apricot Honey Oat Bar Cookies (cookies) Ingredients 1-1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (uncooked) 1 / 2 cup finely chopped dried apricots 1 / 2 cup honey 1 / 4 cup non-fat plain yogurt 2 egg whites class large 2 tbsp soup. wheat 2 c. soup of germs. 3 c. tablespoons of flour. margarine, melted 1 / 2 tsp Tea. cinnamon 1 / 2 tsp Tea. vanilla 1 / 4 c. Tea. Salt Directions 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray 8 Inch Square pan with non-stick cooking spray. 2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until well blended. 3. Turn the mixture into the prepared pan, smooth evenly. 4. Bake until that the center is firm and edges are lightly browned, about 25 minutes. 5. Cool and cut into 2-inch squares. (Makes about 8 servings) Ingredients Honey Cake spay vegetable cooking oil (or just use a brush) 3 cups unbleached flour 1 1 / 2 c. Tea. 1 tsp tea baking powder. 1 tsp tea baking soda. cinnamon 1 / 2 tsp. salt 1 1 / 2 cups sucanat or brown sugar 1 1 / 4 cup lite silken tofu (extra firm), drained 1 cup mashed prunes 3 / 4 cup liquid 1 tsp FruitSource soup. orange zest 2 tbsp Tea. rose water 1 / 3 cup lite soy milk 1 / 2 cup pieces walnuts Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Spray a 9 "x13" pan with cooking spray. 3. Combine flour with next 5 ingredients in a large bowl. 4. Place tofu in food processor, blend until smooth. 5. Add pureed prunes, and mix. 6. Add FruitSource, zest orange and rose water, mix. 7. Add tofu mixture to dry ingredients alternately with the soymilk. 8. Fold in nuts. 9. Pour into prepared pan. 10. Bake 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. (Makes about 24 servings.) Mrouziya (honey Spicy Lamb) – from Morocco Mrouziya is traditionally served during Eid al-Adha. Ingredients 2 large pieces of books Lamp 2 cups water 2 tablespoons Coffee Ras el Hanout (mixture of spices – including allspice, nutmeg, saffron, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, salt, turmeric, ginger) Honey 1/4cup 1/4cup olive oil 1 / 2 cup whole blanched almonds, toasted 1 / 4 cup raisins Directions 1. Preheat oven to 345 degrees. 2. Coat the lamb with spices Ras el Hanout. 3. Place spiced lamb in a 5 liter jug with an appropriate cover. 4. To the pot, add water, honey and olive oil 5. Bake for about 2 hours until the meat tenderises. 6. Remove meat from pan and keep warm. Remove Oil extra. 7. In saucepan, add raisins. Boil until the raisins are fully cooked and the stew has thickened. 8. Return the lamp to the stew. Bring to boil again for about 2 minutes. 9. Garnish with toasted almonds. 10. Serve with warm bread, or cooked Saffron rice, raisins and almonds.
